Improving Global Financial Cohesion: The Importance of a Coherent International Economic and Financial Architecture

In this advisory report, the AIV argues that the international economic and financial system is not functioning properly and that it is in urgent need of reform. Without rapid intervention, it will soon become hopelessly outdated. The AIV notes that decision-making is out of step with the current geopolitical situation, that poor countries are barely represented and that adequate responses are required to control the ever-increasing intertwining of financial markets and international wealth accumulation.
